Our former SRA teacher, the dashing Mr. Renato Abanto found our website and wrote a short note to all Ateneo De Naga Batch 1986:
Hello everyone,
I have come across your website and I am happy to know about you very strong and unified High School Batch ’86. If you still remember, I am your Reading Custodian. I hope it was a pleasant memory for you. I am now living with my family in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. I work as Immigrant Settlement Counselor and also with Overseas Contract Workers. The Philippines have the highest number of contract workers which I am assisting, there are few “taga Naga” I have met. I wish I could go to your Reunion in Las Vegas, I was there last year and visited my cousins who lived there. Anyway, maybe I can spread around the info on Batch ’86 activities. Good luck to everyone.
Renato Abanto
The following aerial photos of Mt. Mayon showing some kind of volcanic activity was taken by our very own batchmate Jukes Nunez, working at the Provincial Disaster and Coordinating Council. Mount Mayon whose predictable eruption which happens every 8 to 10 years is creating a lot of interest today. Is it really time again?
Salamat Jukes sa retrato!
